Managing Partner

Sheryl R. Schwartz serves as a Partner, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer. Ms. Schwartz brings over 16 years of finance, consulting, systems integration, and training experience to Blue Canopy. Prior to joining Blue Canopy, Ms. Schwartz was a partner with KPMG Consulting spending over 16 years in a variety of leadership roles.

She began her career as a CPA for KPMG where she supported a variety of publicly and privately held companies both in an audit capacity as well as due diligence and advisory roles in acquisition and public offerings. Read more

Bradley Schwartz

President and CEO

Bradley J. Schwartz is President and CEO of Blue Canopy. Mr. Schwartz brings 28 years of consulting and systems integration experience to Blue Canopy having worked 17 years with government clients and 11 years with commercial clients.

Prior to joining Blue Canopy, Mr. Schwartz was the Group Executive Vice-President for BearingPoint where he directly managed a $3.4B P&L with 15,000 professionals operating in four regions and 34 countries. Eric Husebo

Partner

Eric Husebo, Partner, Government Services - Eric founded Blue Canopy´s Federal unit, BC Fed Group, in 2003 and focuses on developing and delivering Blue Canopy service offerings to the government clients. Eric brings 25 years of Federal contracting and systems integration leadership experience primarily within the Defense and Intelligence communities.

Eric was previously a Director within AT&T´s Government solutions organization where he launched successful e-Business and Healthcare IT service practices in addition to running large government IT contracts. Read more

Mike Harris

Mike Harris, Co-Founder and Partner - With broad management experience at MCI WorldCom, e.spire Communications, and Source Services, Mike brings over fifteen years of telecommunications and resource management experience to Blue Canopy.

Before joining our team, Mike co-founded Tone, LLC, a successful Northern Virginia technical and executive search firm serving the telecommunications and information technology sectors. Matthew Miller

Mr. Miller is a proven Cyber Security and Information Assurance thought leader and manager of dynamic and innovative teams. Matt´s primary focus areas include security strategy and planning, threat and vulnerability analysis, quantitative and qualitative risk assessment, certification and accreditation, independent verification and validation, and security. In addition to advising clients, Mr. Miller has published and presented on many subjects, including leveraging capability maturity models to improve risk management processes, addressing vulnerability in technologies and critical business applications, and leveraging governance and metrics to establish effective vulnerability management programs.Read more

Don Schaefer, Partner, Civil & DHS - Don brings over 20 years of leadership experience with expertise in technology consulting and system engineering to Blue Canopy.

Prior to joining Blue Canopy, Don was Senior Vice President / Partner at Booz Allen Hamilton where he created and successfully led a portfolio of innovative and industry unique engineering approaches and cross market business units; Mission Engineering® service, an advanced system engineering analysis, integration, and design approach, Concept Visualization, an award winning rapid prototyping and program advocacy approach. Jason Erdman

Director

Mr. Erdman brings over fourteen years experience working with Federal, State, and local governments and will drive the delivery of Blue Canopy´s service offerings to the National Security, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence Communities.

Lisa Kurz

Director

Ms. Lisa Kurz serves as Director in Blue Canopy’s Federal Civilian Practice. Currently, Ms Kurz serves as the Deputy Program Manager on a large federal grants management project where she oversees the delivery of full software development lifecycle support for custom built grant, financial and human resource applications. She is also responsible for quality management, program performance and program execution. In addition, she is supporting her client with the implementation and monitoring of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) with the goal to increase transparency in Federal spending. Robert Riegle

Director

Robert Riegle serves as the Director of Homeland Security and Law Enforcement Practice in Blue Canopy, LLC, where he specializes in the application of Information Sharing and Information Security solutions for Homeland Security and Law Enforcement professionals. Mr. Riegle is a highly regarded expert in domestic intelligence sharing between federal and state and local governments and comes to Blue Canopy with over 18 years of Federal service. Prior to joining Blue Canopy, Mr. Riegle served as a Senior Executive Service Director of the State and Local Government Program Office within the Office of Intelligence & Analysis in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). David Smyre

Director

David Smyre serves as a Director in Blue Canopy´s Federal Practice. He brings 25 years of management and consulting experience working with federal government customers, primarily supporting elements of the Department of Defense (DoD). He joined Blue Canopy in 2003 to help establish and manage a group focused on the government market.

Mr. Smyre currently manages contracts supporting the Intelligence Community as well as components of the U.S. Special Operations Command. He also serves as the Facility Security Officer for our cleared subsidiary, BC Fed Group. Read more

Reuben Maher

Practice Lead

Reuben Maher is a seasoned consulting and practice leader with over ten years industry experience providing visionary, strategic C-level direction to government and private sector clients throughout the entire systems development lifecycle (SDLC). Mr. Maher formed and directs Blue Canopy´s Earned Value Management (EVM) practice and has managed a number of large programs and provided guidance in maintaining control over all aspects of a program´s cost, schedule, and budget performance. He has led major technology initiatives at Fortune 500 companies and been integral in program planning, developing surveillance processes to monitor controls, and managing and mitigating risks by establishing rigorous reporting requirements.
