The Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 Small Business (CIO-SP3 SB) Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) intends to provide health and biomedical-related IT services to meet scientific, health, administrative, operational, managerial, and information management requirements. The contract also contains general IT services because medical systems are increasingly integrated within a broader IT architecture, requiring a systems approach to their implementation and a sound infrastructure for their operation. Ten task areas constitute the technical scope of this contract. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has been designated as an executive agent for purposes of providing Information Technology (IT) to the government. Under this authority, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) will award multiple ten (10) year Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for which task orders can be placed utilizing Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Time and Materials (T&M), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP). Blue Canopy supports 9 of the ten task areas constitute the technical scope of this contract as follows:
- Task Area 1: IT Services for Biomedical Research, Health Sciences, and Healthcare
- Task Area 2: Chief Information Officer (CIO) Support
- Task Area 3: Imaging
- Task Area 5: IT Operations and Maintenance
- Task Area 6: Integration Services
- Task Area 7: Critical Infrastructure Protection and Information Assurance
- Task Area 8: Digital Government
- Task Area 9: Enterprise Management Systems
- Task Area 10: Software Development
Blue Canopy, as a CIO-SP3 SB Prime Contractor, will work with its Government clients to proactively address vital Health IT and security issues with a focus on providing innovative solutions and support to the critical CIO function. Our goal is to deliver high program performance at efficient and very competitive costs.
Blue Canopy will work with the NITACC under the CIO-SP3 SB contract to deliver IT services and solutions excellence not only the NIH and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), but also to extend these services and solutions to other civilian agencies and the entire DoD community.
