Senior Project Managers - Northern Virginia

Duties: PMs will shall lead multiple software-related projects pertaining to mission critical functions of various clients. Work requires working in a team environment to develop detailed level project schedules using client standard tools including but not limited to Microsoft Project to capture tasks, resources, and scope of projects. PMs will utilize standard change management process to control scope of projects. Other duties will include developing forecasts for direct labor distribution, producing weekly status report assessing the viability of projects, developing program budget and forecast, perform risk assessments; and track, review and provide comments to all SDLC documentation.
Qualifications: 10 or more years of project/program/product experience managing complex software application efforts. Full understanding of various software lifecycles and advanced project management techniques. BS in CS, MIS or engineering is required; MS is preferred. PMP certification is also a plus.

These positions all require current TS clearance; some require active TS/SCI. Minimum 2 years of software application design and development experience, with experience using some visual development tool such as VB, PowerBuilder, Delphi, or Visual C++. Successful candidates are those who could lead or participate in design/development efforts of complex applications and associated databases. Experience should include requirements analysis, application design, testing, implementation and sustainment of complex applications. Experience working with Oracle as the database engine behind client-server applications is highly desired. Bachelor's degree in C.S. or related field is desired.
