As Partner in the National Security Business Unit, Reuben Maher is a seasoned consulting and practice leader with over 14 years experience providing visionary, strategic C-level direction to government and private sector clients throughout the entire systems development lifecycle (SDLC). He manages Blue Canopy’s ISR Decision Support Program (IDSP) systems integration contract for an agency in the intelligence community as well as Blue Canopy’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice and ISR Community of Interest (CoI). Reuben has also led major technology initiatives at Fortune 500 companies and managed numerous other large programs while providing guidance in maintaining control over all aspects of a program’s cost, schedule, and budget performance.
In addition to his program management background, Reuben also authored the Earned Value Readiness Guide, was a featured speaker at the Project Management Institute (PMI)-College of Performance Management’s (CPM) EVM World 2010 and 2011 and Deltek’s Insight conferences, and is responsible for all corporate solution development activities around Earned Value Management (EVM) including EV readiness and holistic program performance management. He was awarded Blue Canopy’s Chairman’s Award in 2007 and 2011 for Outstanding Practice Leadership.
Reuben is both Project Management Professional (PMP) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certified. He earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from American University with a focus in Global Information Technology Management/Marketing. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) with highest honors from Oral Roberts University with dual concentrations in Theology/Education.
