Mission Training

Preparing our US Armed Forces to operate and deal with an overtly hostile force is essential to military success and the continuing success of our nation. World events today demonstrate that training - especially focused realistic training, is more crucial now than ever. Our adversaries are unlikely to afford us a sterile combat environment. Interaction with civilians and situational awareness is as big a challenge for our soldiers as contact with an organized enemy force, and is certainly a more diverse, complicated requirement.

Blue Canopy has masterfully combined all elements of modern battlefield into classical training environment both on individual, collective and unit level, while using live, virtual and simulated theaters. We accomplish this by replicating a realistic training environment and by populating training sites with live populous including: superior Role players (with 100% ethnic match), both Civilians on the Battlefield (COB), embedded interpreters/translators, Non-Government Organization personnel, insurgents (OPFOR) as well as Bilateral negotiations Role Players (specially trained role players used to achieve realistic engagement and negotiations interaction). All these efforts are aimed to create and sustain realistic situations such that soldiers will think they are dealing with actual practicing Government officials, officials from Non Government Organizations (NGO's), local indigenous personnel, dislocated civilians, religious leaders and insurgents. Close, continuous coordination with our scenario writers and sustained Role player training are imperative to achieving that end. Also, our special effects team uses state of the art equipment to safely simulate a variety of arsenal used by insurgents (small arms, pneumatic IED simulators, RPG simulators) as well as injury/sickness simulators to integrate this element of complexity info battlefield.

We achieve the customers training objectives by our flexibility and thoughtful task organization that permits agile scenario modification and attention to detail. We create, modify, implement and evaluate success of our training through task/condition/standard matrix and we constantly update our database of available scenarios based on recent events within targeted AOR.

• Planning, scenario development and Exercise Control (EXCON)
• Civilians on the Battlefield (COB) operations with quality Cultural Role Players (CRP) from the target country
• OPFOR delivery with blank firing weapons and RPG´s (led by former US Special Forces personnel using realistic insurgent tactics)
• Training in Cultural Awareness, History, Religious overview of target countries
• Foreign language key phrase usage training
• Use of Interpreters - key to success in-country
• Bilateral International Negotiations - (ENGAGEMENT WITH LOCALS) tailored to different countries/cultures
